Datapine is a data visualization software startup. Their target audience is small to medium companies who want a simpler approach to data intelligence and data visualization.
I joined the team in 2015 and worked with the marketing team to completely redesign and rebuild the marketing website. The company aimed to present their product as a friendly and intuitive tool to help users understand their complex data.
We wanted to present the company as trustworthy, both friendly and still professional. Our color palette reflected this with plenty of white space and vibrant colors combined with subtle blues. We reinforced this with imagery of young professionals in casual settings and appealing dashboards and data visuals. We kept a touch of playfulness with a few illustrations and hand drawn elements.
